Solution for Windows

If the other participants cannot hear you during the interview, follow these steps.


Step 1. Check that audio is not muted

Windows 10

  1. Go to StartSettingsSystemSound.

  2. In the Input section, select the required microphone, if there are several, and click Device properties.

  3. In the General block, make sure this device is allowed for use.

Windows 11

  1. Go to StartSettingsSystemSound.

  2. In the Input section, select the required microphone.
    Windows 11: select the microphone in input settings
  3. In the General block, make sure this device is allowed for use.

Step 2. Check microphone settings

Windows 10

  1. In the notification area on the taskbar, right-click the speaker icon and select Sounds.

  2. In the window that opens, on the Recording tab, select the microphone and click Properties.

  3. On the Levels tab, make sure microphone audio is enabled and the volume is set to maximum.

  4. Click OK.

Windows 11

  1. In the Input settings section, make sure the input volume is set to maximum.
